The LINAC Experts

University of Florida neurosurgeons, radiation physicists, and radiation therapists established one of the first LINAC (linear accelerator) radiosurgical centers in the country at the University of Florida Shands Neurological Center in 1988. The center's success has been due to the multidisciplinary effort made by these health professionals in assessing and treating patients and in developing improved components of the LINAC System.
